The newly constructed school bulit in 2013 is K-12 and current enrollment is approriximately 403.  The school is comprised with the most up-to-date and newest technology with clicker systems, smart boards, projectors, and new computers that are currently being utilized in the classroom.  One to one computing is provided to RCS students; which allows each student to use an electronic device to in order to access the Internet, digital course materials and digital textbooks.  Each K-2 student has an IPad, and students in grades 3-12 are issued a Chromebook for educational use. Integrating technology into the curriculum, develop students' content knowledge, skills, and attitudes that will enable them to reach their maximum potential as responsible, productive citizens and life-long learners.

Located in Robertson County – U.S. Highway 68

Said to have been one of the most prolific springs in Kentucky, the Blue Licks Spring was the source of all history for the Park located along historic Highway 68 just 48 miles northeast of Lexington, KY, attracting prehistoric mastodons and forming a center of Indian life.  In 1778 Daniel Boone and a party of Boonesborough men were captured here by Shawnee Indians during a salt making expedition.  Today, visitors can walk the very grounds where 182 settlers, outnumbered and outgunned, fought for their lives in what is thought to be Kentucky’s last battle of the Revolution on August 19, 1782.  Blue Licks is a place where history, nature, and fun await you.  Visit our Pioneer Museum to learn more about the rich history of this area.
